The prayer times are a few minutes off from my masjid.
Masjids use different calculation methods. Change yours under Profile, Settings, Calculation method so it matches your masjid's timetable.
I'm not getting reminders.
Check that notifications are on for SalamGuide in your phone's Settings, then open the app once so it can schedule the coming week's reminders. Reminders are scheduled on your phone, so they also work offline.
The Qibla arrow looks wrong.
Move away from metal and magnets, then move your phone in a figure of eight to calibrate the compass. Make sure location is allowed so the app knows where you are.
A masjid or restaurant has the wrong details.
Email us with the place's name and city and what needs changing. Corrections from the community keep SalamGuide accurate.
How do I add a place?
In the app, go to Profile, Submit a Place. We review every suggestion before it appears.
Do I need an account?
No. You can use prayer times, the Qibla, masjids and halal food as a guest. An account lets your saved places and RSVPs follow you between devices.
How do I delete my account?
Profile, Settings, Delete account. See Delete your account for what that removes and other ways to ask.
